Marbella Luxury Weekend: focal point of quality and excellence
Puerto Banús will become a global reference point for luxury tourism in May when Europe’s capital of glamour hosts the third edition of Marbella Luxury Weekend.
Officially presenting MLW13 during Fitur in Madrid, Marbella mayoress Ángeles Muñoz said the event would strengthen the city as a tourist destination of excellence. “Quality is the sign of identity of Marbella. We will remain committed to strengthening our brand internationally with initiatives like this.”
For four days, from 31 May to 2 June, specially set up VIP areas and the famous boulevards of Puerto Banús will be a lavish setting for hundreds of events involving international top brands including Bulgari, Cartier, Salvatore Ferragamo and Gómez&Molina Jewellers, showcasing design, high fashion, fine jewellery, gastronomy, food, automobiles and sport.
Part of this initiative, presented by La Zagaleta Group, will be the second annual Brands and Trends Forum, once again bringing together leading global executives to analyse (through presentations and panel discussions) the management of brands during times of uncertainty.
Accompanying the mayoress at the Fitur presentation, La Zagaleta CEO Jacobo Cestino said, “We live in a global economy and it is imperative that companies and their management teams can adapt to new patterns that are marked by on the one hand their consumers, and on the other, technological innovation.
